In Hamburg-Eppendorf, the Bethanien Diakonissen-Foundation has built a new diaconal building complex on the site of its former mother house. The building ensemble consists of three structures. Red-brown exposed brickwork with fine colour nuances dominates the façade design and thus creates a link to the existing buildings in the immediate vicinity. The new building provides living space for a modern nursing home, flats for assisted living and recreation rooms for the Protestant Methodist congregation.
