The gravel bike has been my favorite piece of sports equipment for many years. The countless hours are great for fitness and give you time to let your mind wander.
And you discover different architecture than in the city!
Especially in rural areas – and at some point I came up with the idea of photographing the various shapes of the high seats that appear again and again.
To strengthen the theme and the focus on it, I decided to illuminate them with external light in the evening hours. The additional choice of black and white creates an exciting visual language.
